On our blog we focus a lot on tips that could benefit entrepreneurs in any city. For us though, it’s all about Pittsburgh. It’s our hometown and we are committed to its thriving community. We want to support more than the small business ecosystem of the ‘burgh. We believe in giving back to the community in every way possible.
This year, we are a proud sponsor of the Pittsburgh Charity Classic. This is the third year for the event, which benefits the Kidney Foundation, the Autism Center of Pittsburgh and the Magee Women’s Research Institute.
Two Events, Three Great Causes.
Charity Classic Party
The Pittsburgh Charity Classic launches with great food, drinks and music on September 21st from 7pm until 1am at Highmark Stadium. There will be no speeches, just good times and fireworks! That’s right, you’ll be able to watch the fireworks from the baseball game!
Our new CEO Michael Annichine, who is the on the PCC board, will be at the event, along with other members of our team.
Tickets are $50 per person, with all ticket proceeds going directly to the PCC charities.
Charity Classic Golf Outing
After the party on Saturday, take some time out on Monday for some golf at Fox Chapel Country Club.
Arrive around 8am on September 23rd, grab some breakfast (and beers!) and then hit the golf course. There will be a cash bar after the event, but all meals and drinks on the course are included in the ticket price.
The cost is $1000 for a foursome or $300 a ticket for individual golfers. You can pay at the course with checks made out to the Pittsburgh Foundation c/o the Pittsburgh Charity Classic.
Over the past two years, the Pittsburgh Charity Classic has raised over $50,000 for charity. We hope you can help us break past records and raise even more money this year. So bring your friends, coworkers and even clients to the event and help us make Pittsburgh a better place for everyone.
Tickets for the September 21st event are available at Ticketmaster.
